Landowners can apply for up to $15,000 in small grant funding through the Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board to implement watershed restoration projects on the land. Eligible projects include irrigation system upgrades in agriculture, streamside livestock fencing, riparian planting, livestock paddock footing or manure storage, and other on-the-ground restoration projects. The small grant program requires at least 25% match, which can include cash, in-kind labor, or materials. We will work with you to develop the project and will write the application. For more information or to get started on a project contact the SWCD at 541-386-4588.
