Summer is flying by, and it’s time to spotlight August’s Weed of the Month! Puncturevine, or goathead, is an invasive weed we love to hate. Those cute little yellow flowers lure you in, but watch out for the green, spiky seed pods that look like a goat’s skull.
These prickly seed heads get stuck on everything—your shoes, bike tires, and even your dog’s paws. Ouch! Make sure to wear thick gloves when you’re pulling them out from roadsides and gravel parking lots. Bag them up and toss them in the trash. For more info, check out our flyer below!
